| Custom
Build Sheet
The process begins with a design
consultation. This is a scheduled telephone consultation during
which a Custom Build Sheet (spec sheet) is created that outlines the
details for your custom order. The Custom Build Sheet documents
your preferences and options, in addition to Scott's
recommendations. It also documents the expected delivery and
specific cancellation costs over the time of the build process.
Cancellation costs are a function of the general appeal of your design,
special decals, etc. and the cost of the selected parts. This
Custom Build Sheet will be sent to you for review and approval.
Custom Order Terms
The Custom Build Sheet must be signed and
returned to us with a 50% deposit to begin work on your order. Mad
Creations Unltd. will then confirm the expected delivery date. The
completion date of your instrument is something we try to stay extremely
close to. If your order is completed early, the balance is due
upon request. In any case, the balance is due upon completion,
prior to shipping.
Delays in Ordering
The terms provided on the Custom Build
Sheet will be honored for thirty (30) days. If not approved and
returned with deposit within that time, then Mad Creations Unltd.
reserves the right to revise its contents. If you choose not to
move forward within this time with your custom order, we will keep your
Custom Build Sheet and consultation notes on file for one year.
Changes to Custom
Orders
During the build process, some changes
may be possible while others might not be. If changes are made
that result in additional cost, that amount will be added to the
balance, which is due prior to shipping.
Cancellations
Each custom guitar is built specifically
and only for you, the customer. Therefore, depending upon how far
along production of the custom guitar is, cancellations may not always
be possible. The refund as a result of cancellation will be as
defined in the Custom Build Sheet.
No transfer of ownership during the build
process prior to delivery is allowed
without the express written consent of Mad Creations Unltd. |
